The Wizards have lost two of their last three games and they struggled offensively, scoring less than 110 points per game. They are struggling with their shot, especially from three-point range, and will struggle against the Grizzlies, who held three of their last four opponents under 106 points. Washington will have a hard time keeping pace with the tough Memphis defense.
The Grizzlies have also picked up the pace offensively in recent games, making more than 45 percent of their field goals. They’ve done a good job crashing the offensive boards and will get plenty of second-chance opportunities against a Wizards team that has given up over 110 points per game in three of their last four games.
