Kentucky has had a week to recover from what was an understandable loss to top-ranked Georgia. The Bulldogs have not been slowed down by anyone this season, so Kentucky actually had a decent showing.
They are tough on both sides of the ball and Kentucky has now covered the spread in six of their last seven games..
This could be their toughest remaining game on the schedule, which means an 11-1 regular season is still in the cards. I am not a fan of Mike Leach and I expect the Kentucky defense to force a few turnovers in this one especially after Miss St just won by 40 last week and put up over 520 yards of total offense vs a weak Vandy team.
Mississippi State is going to have its struggles against this defense, especially if pass protection continues to be an issue.
Kentucky won 24-2 last year and I expect more of the same here from Mark Stoops and the Wildcats on Saturday night.
