ND is 6-1 but they played a very weak schedule. NC is only 4-3 but their losses were all close until the 4th Q and this is their Super Bowl primetime game.
Coming off their BYE week HC Mack Brown will have his boys ready for the Irish. But this game is a little different in that Notre Dame is coming off a very emotional battle against its archrival. Can they bring the same focus two weeks in a row? The Tar Heels are adept at scoring points and averaged 36.9 PPG, which is good enough for 18th in the nation. QB Sam Howell is completing 61.1 percent of his passes for 1,851 yards, 18 touchdowns, and six interceptions and is a threat to run the ball. The run game averages 199.1 yards per contest. The Tar Heels lead back Ty Chandler has 588 yards and seven touchdowns on the season. I think NC is a LIVE DOG here on Saturday night.
