While the pitching has generally let the Angels down this season, Cobb has been outstanding when healthy and can lead Los Angeles to a victory over the last place Rangers in this one. Texas' offense isn't good enough to handle even above average pitching, while Otto is still struggling to adjust to life in the big leagues and gives up a ton of hits.

Cobb is actually among baseball's elite starters in a few advanced metrics as he has a 2.65 ERA, backed by a strikeout rate that is easily a career best as his splitter has gained some extra movement in his first season with the Angels. This is a good matchup to keep his recent hot streak going, as the Rangers rank last in the AL with their lineup.
