Although Trevor Lawrence has grabbed all the headlines in Jacksonville's training camp, the rookie quarterback will be facing a stiff challenge for opening week from Gardner Minshew who can really sling it and has the experience.
If Trevor Lawrence is able to move the Jaguars early he could play more time in his first appearance in the preseason, which leans to Jacksonville putting up big numbers on the scoreboard. The Browns will not play their top skills’ position players such as Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb and wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr and Jarvis Landry. Jacksonville head coach Urban Meyer is making his preseason debuts in the NFL, and he has far more to prepare and wants to see players on both sides of the ball in comparison to Stefanski and the Browns.
