Albies drove in seven runs with five hits, including two home runs, and the Atlanta Braves battered the New York Mets 20-2 on Wednesday night for a strong finish to a disappointing month.
It was only the 4th time in team history that the Mets allowed 20 runs.
The Mets are 22-7 their last 29 and have their Ace on the mound.
With deGrom on the mound, they'll get the needed win because he's the best in the game. Anderson pitched well in his last start against the Mets, but had struggled on May 29, giving up four runs in four innings. In his last four starts vs. the Braves, deGrom allowed just three runs in 23 innings with 37 strikeouts.
