The Indians offense is just not good enough to back against a team like Toronto with this pitching matchup. Cleveland is near the bottom in run production this season. The Blue Jays have one of the best lineups in the MLB, so that is going to be a tough challenge for a pitcher who is making his big league debut. Ryu has been the best Toronto starter this season, so it’s very unlikely that he gives up more than a couple of runs. Ryu has allowed two or fewer runs in all but two of his starts this season, leading to a 2.53 ERA in 2021.
