A master at suppressing hard contact, Yarbrough is ready to establish himself as a full-time starter after pitching behind an opener early in his career. The lefty posted a 3.56 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP in 55 2/3 innings over 11 outings (nine starts) last season.

Miami's Pablo Lopez lost consecutive outings to the Rays last year, giving up two runs over seven innings in the first and five runs in four frames in the second. This spring, the 25-year-old righty worked on a hybrid breaking pitch to add to his arsenal.
