Despite their come from behind victory Navy should not be favored over anyone. Their defense is poor and their young QB has a limited playbook. Yes, this is Air Force's first game but they'll be ready for the option. Air Force's backs will accelerate off the line of scrimmage for the Falcons. They will be used earlier because of the mismatches they can cause, they will show that a lot. Their grinding attack will be what leads this Air Force team out of the #2 spot of our military teams and into the spotlight. Navy's running game is not strong enough running through the tackles. A terrible 3rd down conversion rate of 25.93% and 3.4 YPC isn't backing off any LBs. Jamale Carothers has decent footwork, but he still has a lot to prove, at this point though. Navy has a terrible defense giving up 39.5ppg this season. The Midshipmen are very young and just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. MWC. Air Force +7.5 gets the ATS cover in this one on Saturday night!
