This is a reasonable price on the Mets and Steven Matz, who's 3-0 with a 1.80 ERA at home. Over his last eight starts, Matz is 4-3 with a 3.50 ERA. Mickey Callaway's trust in him also appears to be increasing. The manager allowed Matz to match his career high with 120 pitches in his last outing.
This is only the second start this year for the Cards' Daniel Ponce de Leon and I think it will take a few more starts before he gets back on track. Take the NY METS on Friday night.
