Zach Wheeler and the NY Mets and perhaps the Mets' most consistent starter so far this season, Wheeler has completed at least seven innings in four of his five May starts. He hasn't gone less than six innings since April 7, and he's racked up 78 strikeouts in 70 innings. The Mets have slowly been on an up tick and just because they faced the dominant Dodgers and lost back to back games does not take away from their great surge of late. This team didn't score a run yesterday either which makes us like them even more. The Mets had won 6 of 8 games coming in before losing back to back games. Lets back the NY Mets here on Friday night.
