Griffin Canning is the starter for the Angels making his Major League debut vs. the Blue Jays. He had allowed just one earned run through 16 innings for Triple-A Salt Lake when the Angels decided he was ready to take on Major League hitters. Canning's final test was building his pitch count to 90 in extended spring training.
Canning has given up just one earned run over three starts in Triple-A, posting a 17:1 ratio K:BB. Take the LA ANGELS here at home tonight.
