Tonight we get a rested WhiteSox team going against Norris who beat them just 5 days ago so revenge as well and seeing him twice in a week also helps the batters. Norris made his first start of the season in his last outing and he threw five scoreless innings in the game and it's that performance that should give us some value betting against him in this matchup. Norris still doesn't look like to me to be close to the former hard throwing left-hander that he was just a few years ago as the velocity on his fastball is down nearly 5 miles per hour compared to where it was back in 2016 and 2017. The Tigers also just played 4 games in the last 3 days on the road and their bullpen is spent while the WhiteSox is rested.


I am also looking to fade this awful Detroit Tigers team every chance that I can. The Tigers got off to a surprising .500 start to their season, but don't fall for that as they have won their fair share of close games. A truer indication of where this team is at is their -24 run differential which puts them at the levels of a 95-loss team over a full season.
