After early-season struggles, the Temple Owls have been on a tear recently. Defensively they've gotten it together and their offense has done a great job of being both fast-paced and productive.

Now 7-5 Duke take on 8-4 Temple in Shreveport and it'll be a play on Temple. The Owls with 7-1 in conference play this season with a strong defense and a ball hawking passing D. The Blue Devils were off to a good start early in the season but as ACC play took over they struggled going 3-5 and ended the season losing a lopsided 59-7 result to Wake Forest. Temple just beat Connecticut 57-7, beat South Florida this year by 20, beat Houston by 10 on the road and beat Maryland 35-14 (and almost beat Top 25 Boston College). Temple is the real deal here.

Overall Temple has the tougher team with more athletes and I like the Owls to win by double digits here on Thursday afternoon. They also have a new head coach with new schemes and Duke will not know how to prepare for them.
