10* NL GAME OF THE WEEK
(MLB) Washington vs. Miami,
Money Line: -147.00 Washington (Away)
Result: Loss
Prior to last nights game the Nationals were playing much better ball. They struggled last night only putting up 1 run and leaving a lot of runners on base. Miami righty Jose Urena (2-10, 4.63 ERA) is 1-2 with a 5.08 ERA in nine career games against the Nationals and he's 0-8 with a 4.65 ERA in 13 starts at Marlins Park this year. For Washington they hand the ball to Jeremy Hellickson (4-1, 3.44 ERA) who has posted a 3.65 ERA in 13 career meetings with the Marlins. The right-hander has been dominant on the road this year with a 4-1 record behind a 2.83 ERA in 10 starts. It amazes me how often the Marlins get beaten like they were a high school team on the field, and how slow their guys are with getting around the bags. Marlins are 8-20 in their last 28 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Washington wins the rubber game here on Sunday.
