The Pirates offense is downright terrible. After the first two hitters in their lineup, the team batting average is .220 and that includes the Pirates CF Andrew McCutchen who is 1-for-20 over the last five games, dropping his batting average to .200. That isn't going to produce many runs. Julio Teheran gets the start for the Braves and he was given an extra day of rest in preparation for his latest home start in the third of a four-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday night. The Pirates are just 8-17 away from home and Teheran is 3-1 with a 3.00 ERA versus the Pirates after beating them with seven strong innings last month.
