The Giants will be starting their 'new' ace Madison Bumgarner (18-10, 2.98 ERA) while Pittsburgh will counter with Edinson Volquez (13-7, 3.04). The San Francisco 'ace' is 0-1 this season and 1-3 lifetime against the Pirates while Volquez has no record this season against the Giants but is 2-2 lifetime.
