Nationals over Phillies- This is a tough call as both these clubs are playing their best ball of the season. Washington is off their longest win streak of the year and the Phillies just took two-of-three from the Mariners and Cardinals and won the first game of this series. The Nationals will start Gip Gonzalez (6-9, 3.83 ERA) and his mound opponent is Cole Hamels (7-6, 2.53) who has not allowed more then three runs in a start since late May. Teams win games and the Nats are just that much better. Take WASHINGTON!
