Mets over Brewers- It was just about one long week ago the Mets were within one game of .500 and then David Wright went into a 1-for-26 funk and the Mets when 1-7 in their last eight games as they failed to score more then four runs in any of their losses. Tonight they send their most effective starter in Jonathon Niese (3-3, 2.68 ERA) who has not permitted more then three runs in any of his 12 starts this season. He is 2-0 lifetime against the Brewers while his mound opponent Kyle Lohse (7-2, 3.27) who has allowed three runs or fewer in 11 of 13 starts is just 2-4 against the Mets. Wright is due to break-out of his slump as he is 9-for-21 (.429) with a pair of homers against Lohse where he is 0-2 with an ERA of 6.28 at Citi Field. Take the METS!
