Mariners over Rangers- Looking at this match-up there are a number of things that put everything in prospective. Seattle who hasn't had a playoff appearance since oh I can't remember... but the point is they are favored at Texas and it's been the Rangers who have been knocking on the championship door in recent years. But, things are different as the Rangers have 13 people on the DL, and those left around just don't cut it. Seattle sends Hiashi Iwakuma (2-0, 1.59 ERA) to the hill against the Rangers' Colby Lewis (3-2, 4.99). The difference in the quality of their season can be seen in the numbers as Iwakuma his allowed only 14 hits in 23 innings while Lewis has surrendered 45 in 31 innings. Take the MARINERS!
