Phillies over Mariners- Philadelphia veteran right-hander Zack Wheeler (10-5, 2.94 ERA) is in his 12th MLB season and seems to get better with age. He was been a mark of consistency having had only one losing year back in 2017 while with the New York Mets. With really nasty stuff Wheeler has had issues with ball placement while being prone to wild pitches and home runs and after six straight quality starts he was bombed by the Yankees last time out surrendering seven runs and three homers in limited action. I expect a much better performance today. Take PHILADELPHIA!
