Redlegs over Diamondbacks- The Diamondbacks send veteran left-hander Madison Bumgarner (2-4, 3.31 ERA) to the mound in the series opener against the Reds. The southpaw makes his 12th start of the season, looking to snap a personal three-game losing streak. Bumgarner will be making his 11th career start against Cincinnati, allowing 10 home runs while posting a 3-5 mark with a 4.24 ERA in 10 previous starts. The Reds counter with rookie Hunter Greene (2-7, 6.19). The right-hander is coming off an uneven start against the Red Sox in Boston last Wednesday. He no-hit the Red Sox through three innings, striking out seven. The struggling D'backs are 21-63 in their last 84 games as road underdogs and the Reds have won 15 of their last 25 games.
