Rangers over Angles- If Johnny Vander Meer were alive today he wouldn't be too worried about left-hander Reid Detmers (2-1, 3.77 ERA) breaking his unbeatable record of consecutive complete game no-hitters. Detmers threw a no-no last time out a nine inning stint that lowered his ERA to 3.77 as he had previously surrendered 13 runs in 19 innings of work. This won't be the first time Detmers faces the Rangers this season. In his first meeting, a no-decision on April 15, he was tagged for five earned runs on six hits in 3 1/3 innings. Take TEXAS!
