Yankees over Rays- When I see 'prices' like this I games it make me scratch my head as to why Tampa Bay is a heavy home underdog against a team that they have dominated in recent seasons including 5-1 this year and 21-8 over New York in the last 29 meetings. If we look at the pitching matchup and maybe that will show 'us' how this line exists so high. Jordan Montgomery (1-1,4.41 ERA) get the start for the Yankees and he is 1-3 with a 5.63 ERA against the rays and has surrendered eight runs in his last 11 inning of work against them. Tampa will start Luis Patino (1-0, 1.17 ERA who has allowed just four baserunners in 7.2 innings striking out 10. Seems perfect to beat the free swinging Yankees but the 'line' says otherwise.
