New York actually leads the NL East (Least) at 9-8 and will start left-hander David Peterson (1-2, 6.75 ERA) who won his first MLB start against the Red Sox last July. His mound opponent Garrett Richards (0-2, 6.48) was pounded by the Blue Jays last time out and has yet to have a quality outing.
