This is their second opportunity to clinch as they were taken out 81-66 at Arkansas on Wednesday as they committed 32 fouls allowing the Razorbacks to attempt 43 free throws. Mississippi State who just mover over .500 with two consecutive wins have done it with defense as they are one of the worst shooting teams in the nation and are at 65.4% from the free throw line. But they can play defense allowing just 65.6 points per game and dominated South Carolina on Wednesday forcing the Gamecocks to miss 44 of 62 shots from the floor. The Tide are used to playing for championships in the SEC on the gridiron but in the cage not so much. Take MISSISSIPPI STATE!
