Oklahoma at Iowa State 7:30 ET
Cyclones (+) over Sooners- In another time and another season when things could be different last weeks upset of Oklahoma by Kansas State (+28.5) 38-35 would be one for the ages. The Sooners blew two 21-point leads and now must run the table to have a shot at the final four. Oklahoma has won 20 of the last 21 meetings SU and 24 consecutive games in Ames. Iowa State was also upset as a heavy favorite laying -14 and losing outright 31-13 to Louisiana-Lafayette in their opener and came back to win SU last week as a beaten-favorite (-3.5) winning 37-34 despite giving up over 500 yards and 27 FD's while getting just 14. I now see the problem with this game is that I am trying to make a case for the Cyclone and that's not easy. So, I'll do my best. OU is 4-12 ATS after allowing less than 100 yards rushing ( How bout that one...a nugget) and 2-6 ATS as favorites 2-7 ATS against teams with losing records. I got more as Iowa State is 5-1 ATS in their last six as a home underdog and 4-0 ATS against the Sooners in the last four meetings and finally they are 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 as an underdog. We have one thing going for 'us' the public and even sharps and wiseguys are 'on' the Sooners. Take IOWA STATE
