Chicago White Sox at Oakland 3:10 ET
A's over White Sox- Chicago came out of the doldrums after losing 7-of-8 and 9 of their final 12 games of the season by shutting down Oakland 4-1 in the first of this Best-of-3 series. The A's who have not won a post season series since 2006 already face elimination and will send Chris Bassitt (5-2, 2.29 ERA) to the hill and he has some impressive stats. Bassitt finished the season allowing just one run in his last four starts covering 26.2 innings and he is 2-1 with a 3.04 ERA in four careers starts against the Pale Hose. Veteran lefty Dallas Keuchel is 6-6 against Oakland including 2-4 on the road and a 7-1 loss this season. Although this game may be played in San Diego when Bassitt is pitching for at home he is 2-1 with a 0.72 ERA. Take OAKLAND!
