Braves over Mets- Atlanta got off to a poor start by dropping their first two game at Tampa Bay but have rebounded well by winning 4-of-5. New York has been as inconsistent as every as there hitting has failed in the clutch and their relief pitching still with Edwin Diaz in a disaster. The Mets will start Rick Porcello (0-1, 27.00 ERA) an although he has had some success he is very hittable and his mound opponent tonight is Sean Newcomb (0-0, 2.70) who has had control problems his entire career.
