He has surrendered just 125 hits in 157.1 innings and is 2-1 with a 4.13 ERA against San Diego but is 1-1 with a 5.73 ERA in two starts at Petco Park. He will face Padres right-hander Dinelson Lamet (2-4, 3.95) who is 0-2 in his last three starts because of a lack of support from the weak hitting Padres after allowing just nine hits in 11 innings.
