New York Mets at Atlanta 7:40 ET
Braves over Mets- The Mets have made a great run to be where they are right now. The went into the break 10-games under .500 and have put themselves in the thick of the NL Wild Card hunt. There is one thing I must mention about New York's run, they have down it against the NL's weaker sisters and they must beat some teams of the quailty of Atlanta. Today, they start Steve Matz (7-7, 4.49 ERA) who I consider the weak link in their rotation. Matz the Mets mutt is 1-1 with a 6.23 ERA against the Braves in three starts against them this season and has surrendered nine runs, 13 hits and three homers. Atlanta will start Dallas Keuchel (3-5, 4.83) who is making his first start against the Mets and is coming off of his worst performance of the season but is 1-1 with a 2.96 ERA and 0.84 WHIP in four home starts. Take ATLANTA!
