Rangers over A's- Oakland won 11 of their last 14 games this month but have stumbled of late losing four of their last five and Texas has been even worse winning just two of their last 11 games. The Rangers will try and stop the bleeding with ace Lance Lynn (12-6, 3.93 ERA) who has worked at least six innings in 16 consecutive starts including a career high in strikeouts with 12 Sunday against the Astros. Oakland will start Daniel Mengden (5-1, 4.65) who is 1-3 with a 4.61 ERA in five starts against the Rangers. Although Texas is 5-15 in the last 20 meetings they are the side here tonight.
