Mets over Rockies- After a slow start the Rockies bats have come alive and they have won 10 of their last 12 including a 5-1 win over the Mets last night. Colorado will send Jon Gray (5-4, 4.11 ERA) to the hill and he is 2-0 in his last three starts with a 2.37 ERA after posting a 7.71 ERA in his previous four turns. His last time out against the Mets he surrendered eight runs and nine hits in two innings. New York will start Steven Matz (4-4, 3.97) who was racked by Arizona in his last start giving up five runs on eight hits after allowing no more than three runs in any of his six previous starts.
