Bison over Shockers- Wichita State didn't measure up to cagers of the recent past but here they are after becoming the first team in NIT history to defeat the top three seeds in their bracket. The Shockers definitely got better as the season progressed and finished 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 and with 22 wins and now joins Duke, Kansas and Gonzaga as schools with 22 or wins in the last 10 season. Conflict of styles will be forefront as Lipscomb the NIT's highest scoring team at 89.7 per contest while the Shockers held NIT opponents to their lowest out put with 62.6 per.
