Pittsburgh at St. Louis 7:15 ET
Pirates over Cardinals- At this point the Pirates after losing 11 of their last 15 games are playing out the string and are looking forward to the chance to play golf everyday. St. Louis on the other hand has won nine consecutive series and find themselves 4.5 games behind the Cubs in the NL Central. Pittsburgh will start Joe Musgrove (5-7, 3.56 ERA) who has five straight quality outings with an ERA of 2.12 during that span but has hit up for four runs in four innings last time out against Milwaukee. St. Louis will send John Gant (5-5, 3.56) who has had seven of eight starts where he allowed two runs or fewer...the one game he didn't he surrendered six runs and eight hots to the Pirates. I expect more of the same. Take PITTSBURGH!
