Mets over Reds- Go figure...The Mets who have won 2-of-3 (huge streak for them) are just 11-25 in their last 36 home games but have won 10 of 11 over Cincinnati at Citi Field. The Reds will be without slugger Joey Votto who has a sore and swollen right knee after getting hit by a pitch against Washington. Cincy is 1-6 on their current road trip and will start Sal Romano (6-9, 5.12 ERA) and he is 1-5 on the road with a 5.62 ERA and has just 22 strikeouts in 50 innings. New York will start Jason Vargas (2-7, 8.23) who has yet to work more then five innings in any game this season. Still, this time out it's NEW YORK!
