Athletics over Giants- The Bay Bridge series continues in Oakland where the A's will try and get even in this series after bowing to their cross-bridge rivals Friday night. Madison Bumgarner (3-3, 2.90 ERA) improved his record against the A's to 4-2 with a 4.62 ERA in six starts while Oakland starter Trevor Cahill (1-2, 3.10) makes just his second start since his Achilles injury and he is 7-5 with a 3.97 ERA in 18 career appearances versus San Francisco. The trends are one-sided and I will use them for support as the Giants are 2-10 in Bumgarner's last 12 road starts and the A's are 8-2 in inter-league games and 21-7 in their last 28 overall.
