Rays over Twins- At least there has been one bright spot for Tampa Bay in this early 2018 season and that is the effectiveness of 25-year-old Blake Snell (2-1, 2.95 ERA). Snell has shut down is last two opponents allowing just two runs on just six hits with 19 strikeouts. Minnesota has struggled when playing indoors as they are just 16-36 in their last 52 games (large sample) on astroturf. The Twins will try and counter Snell with Kyle Gibson (1-0, 3.68) with an unimpressive 1.64 WHIP. Like his teammates Gibson has had problems with the Rays posting a 1-4 record with a 7.04 ERA in six career starts. Take TAMPA BAY!
