Cougars (+) over Gaels- Sharp shooting St. Mary's somehow ended up the second seed in the WCC and have won four-in-a-row. The Gaels lead the nation in field goal percentage (51.5) and ranked 10th in 3-point field goal percentage at 40.8% and have defeated BYU five straight times with five straight 'covers.' Without a doubt the best player on the floor will be St. Mary's 6-11 senior Jock Landale the WCC Player of the Year scoring 21.3 points and 10.5 rebounds per contest who led the Gaels to their regular season 28 wins. The Cougars will try and avenge their 81-50 loss in the WCC tournament last season and will keep this one close. Take BYU!
