Tigers over Astros- A pair of interesting story-lines surround today's pitching match-ups as the Tigers start Justin Verlander (5-7, 4.50 ERA) and the Astros start Lance McCullers Jr. (7-2, 3.67). Verlander of course is the biggest name on the potiental trading block but his $28 salary in each of the next two season my be the stumbling block to his moving elsewhere while McCullers Jr. won his first start upon coming off the disabled list but has failed to get through five innings in each of his last three turns and is winless in his last four starts. Verlander is 4-0 with a 2.83 ERA lifetime against Houston and will get the win here. Take DETROIT!
