Royals over Tigers- Just when the Tigers bats have come alive and they have won four straight the 'brass' has decided to break up this group and move on to better things. Detroit traded All-Star J.D. Martinez yesterday to Arizona and are looking to unload today's starter Justin Verlander (5-7, 4.66 ERA) who is 0-3 with a 5.87 ERA the past month allowing 1.83 runners per inning. Although he is 23-10 lifetime against Kansas City the former Cy Young and MVP just doesn't cut it anymore. The Royals will start Jason Hammel (4-8, 5.02) and he is looking for his first win in five starts. He gets it here. Take KANSAS CITY!
