Syracuse was dead-in-the-water closing the season with three straight losses and Gonzaga with seven losses (two to St. Mary's) in a very weak conference. A surprise win over a good Dayton team and an opportune time to meet Middle Tennessee has them here. Gonzaga is the 11th seed and the Orange No. 10 and yet the odds makes have made the higher seed the favorite. The higher seed is 7-2 ATS in that situation this NCAA tourney but usually don't get the 'public' money like this time. Take SYRACUSE!
