Fresno State vs Rice 8:00 ET
Bulldogs (+) over Owls- Neither of these two teams look very appealing as Fresno State enters this contest with six wins and seven losses and Rice was cooked 76-31 by Louisiana Tech in their season finale. Two years ago the Bulldogs played in the Hawaii Bowl and were destroyed by SMU 43-10 and this season they are looking to atone for that embarrassing performance. There are so many reasons to play against both these clubs as Fresno State has lost five straight bowl games and Rice who lost last year to Mississippi State 44-7 in the Liberty Bowl are out of the weakest power conference in the country. With Vegas opening this game having a sub-500 team team the favorite and the 'public' betting the other side to make the Owls the favorite I have to be on the Bulldogs. Take FRESNO STATE!
