White Sox at Royals
(MLB) White Sox (CWS) vs. Royals (KAN),
Point Spread: -1.50 | 104.00 Royals (KAN) (Home)
Result: Win
Who better for the Royals to run into after the break than the Chisox, against whom KC forged much of its hot start this season, beating the Pale Hose the first six times they faced them into mid-April. Conversely, that set the tone against Chicago, too, still an MLB-worst 27-71, and anyone who could be trade bait on the roster likely looking to get out before deadline day. That might include starter Chris Flexen, who has pitched better than his 2-8 record suggests, but it's also a fact that the Chisox haven't won in one of his starts since May 8, now 13 starts ago. This looks a good spot on the RL for Kansas City and Michael Wacha, who has pitched quite effectively since his return to active duty in later June (2.53 ERA in his last four starts since). play Royals on Run Line
