Until last night, that is, losing 3-2, but in the six preceding games, Minnesota had scored 50 runs, and across the previous nine games, the Twins scored 70 runs. Neither of this afternoon's starting pitchers, Zach Littell (7.71 ERA in June) nor Simeon Woods Richardson (off of getting shellacked by the A's last Friday...4 runs, 4 hits, and 4 walks across just 4 IP), are mistaken for staff aces, and in the case of Richardson it's anyone's guess if he ever stays ina game beyond five innings.
