Perhaps taking a cue from the Dallas Mavericks on the NBA side, the Oilers will try to avoid elimination and an embarrassing sweep when at home to the Panthers in Game 4. Maybe the rally was a bit belated in Game 3, but Edmonton was piling on the pressure in the third period, and a look at the stats suggests the Oilers are coming up with enough quality chances that at some point they should start converting. Too many match-winners on the Edmonton side with McDavid, Draisaitl & Co to go out without a fight, and perhaps the late surge on Thursday adds some confidence that Sergei Bobrovsky can be solved (at least somewhat) in the Florida goal..
