Saturday's success vs. the Caps might be the Canucks' win for the week, similar to the previous Saturday win over the Oilers. Still, some enormous pressure on Kevin Lankinen or Thatcher Demko (tonight it's apparently the latter) in goal as the offense hasn't scored more than two goals for more than two weeks (Jan. 11). Just 12 goals the last eight games, which is hardly enough support for the way Thatcher Demko (1-4-0; 3.52 GAA, .852 saves in January) has performed lately in the nets. Vancouver has also lost 8 of 11. The Blues have cooled on recent games but defensive numbers are still among the NHL's best since Jim Montgomery took over behind the bench in later November.
