The offense has resurfaced for the Devils with back-to-back wins over the Bruins and Canadiens, netting the winner at 4:06 in OT at Montreal on Saturday thanks to a goal by Jack Hughes. Jake Allen is now going to have to do the heavy lifting in goal for New Jersey as Jacob Markstrom (sprained knee) expects to be sidelined at least a month but so far Allen looks up to the task, with a 1.95 GAA and .920 saves in January, plus wins in his last two starts. It's also a quick chance at revenge for New Jersey after a recent loss at the Rock vs. Philly on January 18. Goalie Samuel Ersson, however, was shelled in his last start by the Rangers and has tended to bunch subpar efforts together this season. Play Devils on ML
