Meet Green Bay, which appears to have sabotaged its program by hiring the prickly Doug Gottlieb, who benched what was the nation's leading scorer at the time (G Anthony Roy) in early December due, apparently, to an absurd clash of wills. When Roy returned to active duty soon thereafter he went down with an ankle injury that has sidelined him for over a month. The Fighting Phoenix haven't won since Roy was active and scored 34 vs. SIUE...a week before Thanksgiving. The losing streak is now 13; the last eight vs. D-I foes have all been suffered by double-digit margins.
