Still some things to be sorted in Boston, but the Bruins looked like they were in the process of working out their kinks in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Canadiens. Jeremy Swayman's first start of the season in goal was a bit shaky...but good enough. Better news for Jim Montgomery is that the offense seems to be in top gear, already scoring 10 goals in two games, with David Pastnak off to a quick start with a goal in each of the first two games. Swayman, involved in a contract squabble in preseason (since solved), would figure to start getting a lot more comfy after finally getting a game under his belt. The Kings waited until the third period to score (a hat-trick by Anze Kopitar) vs. Buffalo and eventually beat the Sabres on opening night, but new goalie Darcy Kuemper figures to be under a lot more pressure this afternoon at TD Garden.
